Our Motto

“Experiencing God, Educating Minds, Expecting Excellence.”

Our Vision

Memorial Christian Academy students are equipped to pursue a personal walk with Christ and are prepared spiritually and intellectually for life’s opportunities.

Our Mission

Memorial Christian Academy’s mission is to maximize each student’s unique God-given potential by weaving biblical truth throughout our curriculum, fostering servant leadership, expecting academic excellence, and partnering with parents.

Core Values

1. Biblical truth - We believe that the Bible is the ultimate authority for all knowledge and truth.

“All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

2. God-Given Purpose - We believe that each student is made in the image of God with unique potential.

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.”  Psalm 139:13-15

3. Servant Leadership - We believe in inspiring students to develop an attitude of humility in serving others.

“Instead, whoever wants to become great among  you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave - just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:26-28

4. Partnership - We believe in the importance of supporting families as we raise up the next generation of Christ-followers.

“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”  Proverbs 22:6

5. Excellence - We believe that God calls us to strive for excellence in everything we do.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”  Colossians 3:23-24

Holy Bible

MCA trusts God's Holy Word to serve as the foundation of our spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical, and social development.

“Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock.”  - Matthew 7:24

Student

MCA recognizes each student has been blessed with special and unique gifts and talents and strives to encourage each individual to maximize these gifts and talents.

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace…” - Peter 4:10

Family

MCA commits to building a partnership and fellowship with our families.

“You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.” - Deuteronomy 6:7

Excellence

MCA and all those of the MCA family are dedicated to excellence in everything we do.

“Do your best to present yourself  to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth”  - 2 Timothy 2:15

Discipleship

MCA Strives to develop our staff and students into disciples worthy of the mission given to us by our Savior.

“To equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,"  - Eph. 4:12

Service

Just as our Savior came to serve, MCA staff and students are called to serve others.

In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and  remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.”  - Acts 20:35

“Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interest, but also to the interests of others.”  - Philippians 2:3-4
