Early Childhood/Elementary School

  • K3 is a nurturing environment where foundational skills bloom through active discovery and play. Your child will be introduced to God’s love and foundational Bible stories, master letter shapes and sounds with hands-on phonics, and build early number sense by counting and recognizing numbers up to 30. Language and motor skills are strengthened through themed studies and activities like building blocks and tracing.
     
  • K4 is a crucial year for foundational growth in a playful, God-centered setting. Students master all vowel and consonant sounds, learn over 100 blends, and begin reading simple words and sight words in a very strong phonics program. Math focuses on counting up to 100, writing numbers, and beginning basic addition. Children also develop spiritual growth and refine crucial fine motor skills through practice with correct posture and pencil grip.
     
  • Kindergarten is an exciting year of foundational growth with a hands-on, God-centered approach. Students achieve mastery in phonics, practice reading simple sentences, and memorize the first 100 sight words. Math builds a strong number sense, focusing on counting, place value, and automaticity of basic addition facts. Science is a delightful nature-based exploration, while Social Studies introduces community rules and American symbols.
     
  • First Grade is dedicated to establishing essential academic and spiritual building blocks. Students deepen their faith through Bible stories of creation and Jesus’ life. English Language Arts builds reading comprehension through mastery of phonics and spelling, alongside foundational grammar and punctuation. Math focuses on automaticity in basic addition and subtraction facts, plus introductions to geometry, time, and money. They also explore God’s creation in Science and learn about their role in family and community through Social Studies.
     
  • Second Grade is a pivotal year for building confidence and academic independence. Bible focuses on key biblical character traits like courage and faithfulness, applying Christian principles to daily life. In Math, students achieve mastery in double-digit addition and subtraction with regrouping and are introduced to multiplication/division concepts. English Language Arts advances reading comprehension and masters grammar concepts like all eight parts of speech. Science and Social Studies explore living things, resources, and the foundations of Christian Citizenship.
     
  • Third Grade is an exciting journey where your student grows into a global thinker! Bible shifts focus to the Life of Christ and the Early Church. Math’s core goal is achieving automaticity in all multiplication facts, applying place value to multiplication, division, and decimals. English Language Arts expands to writing original paragraphs and research reports, with a focus on advanced comprehension and literary analysis. Students explore the physical world in Science and tour major world regions in Social Studies.
     
  • Fourth Grade is a foundational year where students deepen their faith by studying core Christian doctrines. English Language Arts refines reading comprehension, analyzing author’s purpose, and mastering grammar for effective communication. Math focuses on applying place value to multiplication and division, introducing fractions, geometry, and pre-algebra skills. Science explores living things and energy using hands-on STEM activities. Finally, Social Studies/History tours the United States, exploring the cultural geography and history of the fifty states and five territories.
     
  • Fifth Grade is a dynamic year focused on transition and advanced study. Bible dives deep into the Old Testament, exploring stories of faithfulness and the impact of choices. Math is a challenging transition, applying whole-number operations to decimals and fractions and continuing pre-algebra skills. English Language Arts culminates in writing a library research paper and mastering all eight parts of speech. Social Studies provides a comprehensive survey of U.S. History from 1565 to the present, covering the American Revolution, Civil War, and the U.S. Constitution.
     

Middle School

  • Embark on a journey through Ancient Civilizations and the entire Bible! The Bible course, Route 66, surveys the structure and themes of every book of the Bible. Math focuses on strengthening foundational skills with whole numbers and decimals, then moves into key concepts like exponents, all fraction operations, geometry, and an introduction to ratios and percent. English Language Arts develops advanced comprehension, literary analysis, and various writing forms. Social Studies tours ancient civilizations like Mesopotamia, Greece, and Rome. Science is a comprehensive, biblical Life Science course, investigating cellular biology, genetics, and human body systems.
  • Wise Up! is the theme for this pivotal year of new freedoms and greater responsibility. The Bible course encourages students to study the wisdom of God in Proverbs and apply these principles to daily life. English Language Arts continues developing advanced comprehension (generalization, compare/contrast), literary analysis, and various writing products, including expository and persuasive essays. Social Studies is dedicated to a detailed study of the full scope of Texas history from early times to the present. Math includes a substantial introduction to algebra, integers, relations, and functions.
     
  • A foundational year establishing dynamic Christian living and American roots. Bible is the comprehensive Dynamic Christian Living course, focusing on the five stages of spiritual life: Salvation, Scripture, Prayer, Witnessing, and Daily Living. Math is a full Pre-Algebra course that prepares students for high school by covering integers, algebraic expressions, basic equations and inequalities, functions, radicals, and geometry. Science is a research-based Physical Science course introducing key concepts in Chemistry and Physics through a biblical worldview. English Language Arts culminates grammar study by mastering all eight parts of speech (including verbals). History studies U.S. History from the colonial period through Reconstruction, focusing on the U.S. Constitution.

High School

  • Foundations of the Old Testament-God’s Unfolding Kingdom (9th grade)
    This freshman level course gives 9th graders an in-depth understanding of the Old Testament.
    Students spend time developing an understanding of Ancient Near Eastern culture so they
    might understand themes throughout the Scriptures that are not familiar to our modern world
    such as covenants, sacrifices, societal structure, and other aspects of culture. Students develop
    a solid understanding of God’s covenants with humanity so they will fully grasp how Jesus is the
    fulfillment of the Law and the bringer of the New Covenant.
